This Sunday our pools will open (hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m.). In addition to our usual pool rules, the Governor's Back on Track Indiana reopening plan and the Indiana State Department of Health require that we have additional restrictions in place. If the Governor's reopening maintains the timeline as it currently stands, these polices will remain in place through July 3.

Here is some key information to note:

  • Everyone entering the pool area will be required to complete a Waiver and Release form which will be kept on file. The form is available HERE, on our website, as well as at the OA office. They will also be available at each pool.

  • Pool Monitors will control admission to the pool area. No one will be allowed to enter without permission of the Pool Monitor.

  • Capacity restrictions will be in place as determined by the Indiana State Department of Health. Due to these restrictions, the pools will be open to residents only. NO GUESTS will be allowed.

  • No one under the age of 18 will be admitted to the pool area unless accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

  • You will need to bring your own chairs.

  • Rafts and flotation devices will not be allowed. Pool toys will only be permitted if they are used exclusively by the family bringing them.

  • You must not enter the pool area if you have a cough, fever or other symptoms of illness.

  • You should wear a face covering when you are not in the swimming pool. NEVER wear a face covering while actively swimming, or allow children to do so.

  • You are responsible for washing your hands as well as any object(s) you bring into the pool area.

  • Alcohol is not allowed in the pool area.

  • Lifeguards and Pool Monitors are to be obeyed at all times. Please be kind and respectful as they take on these important, responsible jobs.

  • Remember, this week has been cool and rainy, with little sunshine. The water temperature will be cold.

We ask that everyone come to the pools with patience and a positive attitude. Everyone is doing their best to make the experience the best, and safest, it can be.

You can find additional details in the email sent last week .

As always, don't hesitate to reach out to the OA with questions or concerns.
