The MOVEit Transfer software cyberattack has impacted hundreds of institutions of higher education and other organizations nationwide. Recognizing that many NACUA members are working through this evolving situation, we invite you to join us for a virtual Pop-up Discussion tomorrow Friday, August 18, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET

In late May 2023, cybercriminals gained unauthorized access to the personal information of students, employees, and other community members by exploiting a security vulnerability in MOVEit software, which is used by many member institutions and their vendors, including the National Student Clearinghouse and TIAA.

Members with expertise in this area will make introductory remarks and participants will then have the opportunity to discuss what’s on their minds as the full scope of the breach continues to emerge and as they consider options for required notifications, including the recent offer from the National Student Clearinghouse to which institutions have been asked to reply by Monday, August 21.

Registration is required to attend this event and it is only open to members. This informal discussion will not be recorded, and there is no CLE credit.

We hope you will join us tomorrow as we discuss finding a path forward.
