We are proud to share that P&A was recently featured in The Boston Globe and on news-press.com.  Check out Mindy Popp's thoughts on the value of college tours and why they are so beneficial. For college-bound athletes, don't miss wise advice from Tom Walsh, P&A's athletic counselor, on how to navigate the athletic recruitment process and potential scholarship offers.

Financial Aid Events

As we approach the first major application deadlines in November, high school seniors can still take advantage of college fairs to learn more about schools they are considering for their college lists.

Applicants should also make an effort to connect with admission officers who usually visit high schools during September-November. For more information about college visits at your high school, please see your school counselor.

NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) hosts the  Performing and Visual Arts (PVA) College Fairs in many US cities during the fall. Students interested in undergraduate programs including music, dance, theater, graphic design, visual arts, and other related disciplines should consider attending a PVA. The Boston fair will be held on October 28 .

Calling all artists! The Boston National Portfolio Day is hosted by the National Portfolio Day Association (NPDA), which includes representatives from regionally accredited colleges and universities. These institutions are also members of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). All Portfolio Day events are free, open to the public and do not require pre-registration. Visit this website for the 2015-2016 schedule. The Boston event will be held on November 1.

In addition to college fairs happening this fall, MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority) will be offering free seminars and webinars for families covering a variety of financial aid topics. To learn more, please visit this website.
