P&A South Carolina College Visits

College of Charleston
April is a popular month for college visits, and P&A counselors hit the road along with prospective students. Mindy Popp visited colleges in South Carolina including Furman University, Clemson University, University of South Carolina, and College of Charleston. All of these colleges have wonderful opportunities to offer students and great weather too! We encourage students to keep an open mind, explore schools outside of the Northeast, and expand their horizons. To see photos from Mindy's college visits, please check out the

Spring College Fairs

May will be a busy month for college fairs in the New England area! Families are encouraged to attend a local fair and connect with colleges of interest, especially schools that prospective students cannot easily visit in person. All fairs are free and open to the public.

Brian Creonte and Laurel Howlett, seniors at Wellesley High School and P&A clients, speak to families about  their college admission experiences at the MetroWest College & Career Fair at Ashland High School on
March 21, 2015.

During May, NEACAC (New England Association for College Admission Counseling) will host college fairs in Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. Colleges located throughout the US will be in attendance.

Colleges That Change Lives, Inc. (CTCL) is a nonprofit organization including various colleges in the US that are featured in the book Colleges That Change Lives by Loren Pope. CTCL will be offering college fairs in many US cities in 2015. The Boston event will be held on May 20.
