P&A in the Press

Popp & Associates is excited to be featured in the Back to School issue of SEEN Magazine. While SEEN Magazine is often read by educators in southeastern states, the magazine's content is beneficial for school staff, independent college counselors, other educators, and families living throughout the US. To learn more about how parents, students and teachers can work together best in the college application process, please take a look at our article "Best practices for supporting families, and yourself, in the college application process."

What Matters Most in College Admission

College Entrance

In our August newsletter, we featured an article that highlighted what matters most in college admission. We also included a helpful chart from the NACAC website, which was unfortunately experiencing technical difficulties at the time. Because our readers were not able to access the chart, we wanted to share it again this month. The NACAC chart reminds us that a student's transcript is a critical factor in an admission decision. We also learn that extracurricular activities may not be as influential as we thought. For the inside scoop on what really matters in college admission, please read here.
