As Spring unfolds in Port Jefferson, we are thrilled to welcome the season with exciting events and initiatives that celebrate our vibrant business community! We also extend a warm welcome to our new members and committees. Our gratitude goes out to each of you for your continued support and dedication.

New Restaurant Association:

We are excited to introduce the New Restaurant Committee, spearheaded by McKayla de la Pena of Castaways. This initiative aims to foster collaboration within our restaurant community while strengthening relationships with the Retailers Association, Business Improvement District, and most importantly our Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to seeing the synergy this committee will create and encourage our chambers restaurant members to get involved!

Retailers Association:

Our Retailer Association is still going strong. 8 years ago, we formed a Retailer Association to collectively help promote each other's businesses and collaborate on events with our Chamber and the community. If you are a retailer and want to get involved with the Chamber, please reach out!

I would like to thank Stu Vincent of Northwell Mather Hospital for his service as our Chamber president for the past two years. I would also like to welcome our new directors to our board. • On January 15th, we had a ribbon cutting for new Chamber Member and business to Port Jefferson, Global Language Reads!

• On January 18th & 19th, we had our SOLD OUT Mac & Cheese Crawl! We had 15 locations participate this year.

• On January 25th & 26th, was the Port Jefferson Ice Festival run by the Port Jefferson Business Improvement District. The weather couldn't have been more perfect!

• At our February General Membership Meeting, we swore in our new Chamber Board Directors - Ron Schlumpf, Shannon Poblete, & John Huber Chamber Executive Member - Brett Sceravino, and Chamber President - Steve Munoz. We also recognized our Members of the Year - Raquel Fernandez & Risa Kluger!

• At our February General Membership Meeting, we awarded our Chamber Small Business Award & Grant to Celtic Apothecary to get a new business sign for their storefront.

• On March 22nd, we had a ribbon cutting for new Chamber Member and business to Port Jefferson, Optical Outfitters!

• On April 12th, we had our annual Health & Wellness Fest at The Meadow Club! It was our best attendance yet! We had 95 tables for vendors filled, St. Charles went through 300 of their healthy muffins, and several businesses left with new clients and customers. Also, 2 of the dogs from Hope with Cleo Animal Rescue got adopted!
