Port NOLA and regional partners will host a procurement fair on June 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Port of New Orleans Administration Building. This is part of our ongoing effort to engage local and small businesses in the New Orleans Gateway. In addition to Port NOLA, several partner organizations will participate, providing information on current and upcoming bid opportunities.
Port NOLA offers a wide range of opportunities that support our four lines of business: cargo, rail, cruise, and industrial real estate. We are committed to economic inclusion and are proud that nearly $1.5 million of Port purchases were made with DBE/SBE-owned businesses last year. We encourage any business owner interested in current or future opportunities, or who would like to learn more about our procurement process, to attend next week's procurement fair.
