Ready for the weekend Steve?

A colorful and illuminating start to the day! Thanks to new Coronado Times reader Ana Lombrozo for sharing this beautiful photo with us.

If you live in Coronado and would like a tree planted in the parkway in front of your property, tomorrow is the deadline to request one for the city's annual Arbor Day 🌳 planting event. Congratulations once again to Coronado's Competition Cheer Team who have taken first place at JAMZ State championship - Go Nado! 📣💚🗿. The potential to vacation on the bay in the Coronado Cays has increased a teeny, tiny bit as the San Diego Board of Port Commissioners voted 4-3 to move forward with a proposed vacation rental development project in an area currently used for boat storage.
