Inslee Announces Washington’s
COVID-19 Recovery Plan
Gov. Jay Insleeoutlined his vision for the safe return to public life amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Inslee said it is unlikely many of the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" restrictions will be modified before May 4. The plan is intended as a framework to loosen restrictions contingent on the steady decrease of the spread of COVID-19.
Washington State businesses can apply 4/27/20 8:00 am PT – 5/4/20 11:59 pm PT. To be eligible companies must be for-profit, have between 2 to 50 employees, have been in business for 2 full years as of March 2020, have an annual revenue between $250k and $2M and have experienced challenges from COVID-19.
Facebook is providing $8.5M in grants to Seattle-area small businesses as part of it's international $100M small business grants program. Applications for the program opened April 11. This program offers cash grants and ad credits and will fund up to 30,000 small businesses in more than 30 countries. Eligible companies must be for-profit, have between 2 and 50 employees, have been in business for over a year, have experienced challenges from COVID-19 and must be near a location where Facebook operates.
