PORT OF LOS ANGELES 'CARS & STRIPES FOREVER!' RETURNS TO THE LA WATERFRONT JUNE 27

Annual Patriotic Event Features Classic Cars, Live Music, Food and Fireworks

LOS ANGELES – June 11, 2025 – Looking for a festive way to kick off the July 4th holiday? The Port of Los Angeles Cars & Stripes Forever!® car show and celebration will be back and better than ever on Friday, June 27. Free and open to the public, this time-honored patriotic tradition and dazzling display of classic cars and motorcycles is not to be missed.

 

Marking its 16th year on the LA Waterfront, Cars & Stripes Forever! will take place from 5-10 p.m. under the Vincent Thomas Bridge at Harbor Boulevard and Swinford Street in San Pedro. The event will include live music, a thirst-quenching beer garden and a selection of food trucks offering tasty local fare. The event will culiminate in a free fireworks show at 9 p.m.

 

Live entertainment on the event’s Main Stage will feature three popular bands: In Contempt (5-6 p.m.); The Jokers (6:30-7:30 p.m.); and Midlife Crisis (8-9 p.m.). The Franklin Haynes Marionettes will also perform on the Fanfare Fountain Stage at 6:30 p.m.

 

Those interested in displaying their classic car at the show, can learn more here about how to register a vehicle. Entry applications must be received by June 14.

 

Visitors can also take advantage of the free Red Trolley, which will run continuously from 5-10 p.m. between the event and downtown San Pedro, along Harbor Boulevard.
