2018 Frank C. Boerger Award
Bay Planning Coalition (BPC) announced that Michael (Mike) J. Giari, Executive Director for the Port of Redwood City, will receive the 2018 Frank C. Boerger Award.
 
This award is annually given to an individual who appreciates the rigors of advocating environmental protection and economic progress, and forges a path to achieve both. The recipient is a person who is passionate in their convictions, balanced in their judgment, and talented in bringing diverse interests and stakeholders together.

Port of Redwood City Celebrated Ports Day
The Port of Redwood City celebrated Ports Day, on April 5, in collaboration with the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) and their membership representing more than 130 public port authorities in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Ports Day is an annual day to recognize and promote the industry’s role in creating jobs and promoting economies in nations Ports across the Americas.
