Hello Tennis & Pickleball Members,

We trust that you have been enjoying the spring season and your time on the courts so far. You have likely noticed that the courts at Adams and Clarke now have portable pickleball nets onsite. The Recreation and Community Programs Department has purchased these portable nets and placed them at the locations for members who prefer to play pickleball vs. tennis. Over the past week, the portable nets have been found thrown on the athletic fields, missing nets, and damaged frames. We are discouraged by the vandalism/misuse and are asking for your assistance. Please share with us if you find any of the tennis/pickleball equipment vandalized or damaged in order for our staff to be sure the systems remain safe to use.

We ask all members and players to please keep the pickleball nets within the courts and to move cautiously. Each system has a locking system for the wheels that should be unlocked when rolling off the tennis courts to the sidelines and locked when on the sidelines and/or during use.

As a reminder, be sure to check out our Tennis & Pickleball webpage for additional tennis & pickleball updates and information.

Have a nice weekend and thank you for your continued support of Tennis and Pickleball in Lexington!

Thanks,

Peter
