A small congregation south of Moorhead, Minn., has made a big impact in the fight to end hunger.
Through collecting food items, monetary donations from its members and match donations, Comstock Hoff Lutheran Parish recently collected enough to provide 34,000 meals to help feed hungry children, seniors and families in our region.
Also making recent substantial gifts to help in the fight to end hunger were: Second Harvest Heartland Food Bank ($20,000), Marathon Oil Company ($15,000), BCBS of North Dakota Caring Foundation ($10,000) and MDU Resources Foundation ($5,000).
