Volunteers Needed for the Turkey Trot!

The Annual Turkey Trot Fundraiser for the PVSD PTO will be on Saturday November 19th from 8:00 - 11:00!

We are looking forward to the PV-PTO time-honored tradition of our annual Turkey Trot on November 19.  It is a great event for the whole family and a wonderful start to the Thanksgiving week.   The Turkey Trot is made possible with the help of many volunteers.  There are still a few important ways for volunteers to help the day of the event.
  • Brew the coffee
  • Brew the hot chocolate
  • Runner check-in
  • Finish Line
The sign-up is attached.  Please fill in where you can.  Thank you!  We are excited for a fun event!

The Turkey Trot is a 1K or 5K run/walk that takes place in the neighborhood surrounding Ormondale.  The event is open to all community members and PVSD families.

Looking for Volunteers for Viajando en Español

There will be a school wide event put on by the Spanish Classes on March 31st, "Viajando en español". Each classroom will represent a Spanish speaking country. Students with their passports will travel around Spanish speaking countries. In each country (classroom) students will be able to learn a bit about that country, make a craft, tast some food, play a game, etc.

Before assigning countries to each classroom, we are looking for representatives from each classroom that have a connection to any Spanish speaking country. For example, a few second graders have grandparents from Chile who will be sharing lots of information and resources about their country.

If you would like to volunteer, or have any questions, please email
Srn. Shenny Cavotta:  [email protected]
