Adventure Scouts Collection Drive

The Ormondale 3rd Grade Adventure Scouts will be running a collection drive for "There With Care" the week of Dec 5th . There with Care is an organization that supports families who have children with critical illnesses at the Stanford Children's Hospital. Most of the families they support are below poverty line and the holidays are a particularly challenging time.

We are going to help by providing them with much needed supplies. We'll have collection barrels outside the Ormondale School office to collect the following new items: adult toiletries (eg shampoo, conditioner etc), child and baby toiletries (child shampoo, soap, diaper cream etc.), wet wipes, diapers, new toys (lego, craft kits, coloring materials, etc). We will also have a Bake Sale at Triangle Park (near Roberts Market) on  Friday Dec 9th 3-4pm . For further details, please contact  caroline.diarte.edwards@gmail.com.

Volunteers Needed for Ormondale's Spanish Class

Ormondale's Spanish Class is looking for volunteers!!!  We are preparing for a school wide event on  March 31st, "Viajando en español". There is a lead mom in each grade for this event and we need more parents to help her and the teachers make this event run smoothly.

Each classroom will represent a Spanish speaking country. Students with their passports will travel around Spanish speaking countries. In each country (classroom) students will be able to learn a bit about that country, make a craft, taste some food, play a game, and more.

If you have any questions about "Viajando en Español" please talk to the lead mom in your grade, stop by room 1, or e-mail Shenny Covotta  scovotta@pvsd.net
