We have added a few new events in February.
And food...more food is always good!
FOOD
GRAB & GO GUMBO - FREE
Thursday, Feb 18. Pick up between 11am-noon.
Pick up at 125 Cottage Street - in the front of the building
The Senior Activity Center has partnered with the Meals on Wheels program to offer a monthly Grab & Go hot lunch. February's lunch is chicken & sweet sausage Gumbo, jasmin rice, creamed spinach, and corn bread. Includes a slice of king cake. A $3 per meal donation can be made to meals on wheels.

  • When picking up meal staff will be wearing a mask and we will put the food in the passenger side door or back seat. We ask that you wear a mask as well.
  • This is a monthly lunch series. March 11 lunch is Corned beef & cabbage.

VALENTINE'S DAY LUNCH – Friday, February 12
Brown Bag Lunch
Thanks to our friends at Evolve at Rye, the senior center is hosting a Valentine's Day Brown Bag Lunch filled with lots of love. Sandwich, salad and chips with cookie for dessert.
Pick up 11:00am-noon.

(If all goes well, we might be able to convince Evolve to make us a Rubin sandwiches for a March lunch!)
ON-LINE ACTIVITIES 
Virtual Happy Hour on Zoom - FREE
Tuesdays in February from 2:00-3:00pm on Zoom. We'll catch up and chit chat each week and virtually be able to see each other. Bring your own beverage (I don't need to know what's in that cup!)

Brinn's Stretch Class is Back! - FREE
45-min class dedicated to light stretching from head to toe. Seated or standing position, whichever is most comfortable to you. We'll end the class with a nice breathing exercise.
Class is on Zoom so we'll be able to see the movements and Brinn will walk you through each step. Dates: Wednesdays, February 3, 10, 17, 24.

Virtual Line Dancing - FREE
Each week the class is offered at different times - but there is typically 5 or so classes to choose from. Email to get on the class schedule list.
Anna Howard virtually leads the dancers with line dancing and Zumba Gold moves.
You will definitely work up a sweat. And who cares if you mess up a step...no one can see you in your living room!
Wellness + Health Promotion Group - FREE
Taught by UNH OT Students via Zoom. Weekly virtual class.
