We are excited to announce that Siddhartha (Sid) Vinjamaram has joined the Positive Planet team as Chief Information Officer effective immediately. Sid has over two decades of experience in the technology industry. He started his career at GE, where he worked on the development and management of technology solutions for both internal and customers' systems. His recent experience includes roles at Amazon.com and Chewy.com. At Positive Planet, Sid will focus on a technology transformation for the organization.

While at Amazon, he led the development of systems for Amazon's internal finance operations, which included technology workbenches for finance professionals, content management systems, business intelligence, and fraud detection systems. Later, as part of Amazon Alexa, I have built systems required to create ground truth data for Alexa machine learning systems. He led a global multi-disciplinary team of engineers, product managers, UX designers, data scientists and others, who together delivered their mission of providing top-quality data for use by Alexa machine learning systems.

Most recently, he headed the Recommendations & Personalization unit at beloved pet online retailer Chewy.com. He has oversaw the development and implementation of algorithms and systems that provide personalized recommendations and offers to customers based on their preferences, behavior, and feedback.
