KICA NOTIFICATION

As part of the island's emergency management plan, KICA and the Town of Kiawah Island issue joint emergency communications to members.

The damage assessment team is pleased to report that Kiawah Island did not suffer any significant damage as a result of Hurricane Ian. While Kiawah Island's roads are passable, debris cleanup is still underway. KICA's maintenance crew will continue cleanup efforts along streets and leisure trails tomorrow and into this week.

On Thursday, Oct. 6, yard debris will be picked up. For more information about the Town of Kiawah Island's solid waste calendar, click here. As a reminder, if you experienced any property damage, please contact Bruce Spicher at bspicher@kiawahisland.org.
