Exciting News from the Southeast Festivals & Events Community 🎉

SFEA Honors Regional Festivals with 2026 Kaleidoscope Awards

Tupelo, MS – The Southeast Festivals and Events Association turned up the spotlight in Tupelo, Mississippi this week, honoring the region’s top event professionals at the 2026 Kaleidoscope Awards Gala. With 187 applications submitted from across the Southeast, the competition reflected the creativity, scale, and impact of festivals and events that continue to drive tourism, strengthen local economies, and bring communities together.

“The Kaleidoscope Awards celebrate the passion and innovation that power our industry,” said Amy Doherty, SFEA Board Chair. “These organizations are not just producing events. They are creating experiences that leave lasting impressions on their communities and raise the standard for excellence across the Southeast.”

The Knox Asian Festival has received another #1 Best Festival Award from the Southeast Festivals and Events Association.

This award reflects the incredible dedication, passion, and commitment of our festival team, who work tirelessly to share the arts, traditions, and cultures of their countries with our community.

We are truly honored to receive this recognition. It reminds us how powerful cultural celebrations can be in bringing people together and building a welcoming community.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing festival team for your hard work and passion. And thank you to everyone who performs, volunteers, sponsors, and joins the festival each year. Your support makes this event possible.

This recognition belongs to our entire community. ❤️

We look forward to celebrating together again at the 2026 Knox Asian Festival!

13th Knox Asian Festival

@ TheWorld Fair Parks

& Knoxville Museum of Arts

The location has been moved back to the World’s Fair Park. We found that it would be logistically difficult to move forward at the Knoxville Convention Center, so we have decided to host the Festival in the park instead.

It will be a more intimate experience this year.

We are also partnering with the Knoxville Museum of Art, and we truly appreciate the museum’s partnership.

Thank you so much for your understanding.
