Every year, we look forward to connecting with our community at our annual Hike for Hospice Vaughan. This event has become an important gathering for families and friends to come together, walk in support of our programs and services, remember and honour loved ones, and raise much needed funds for Hospice Vaughan. However, given the growing concerns around COVID-19 we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our hike. The hike will be moved from May 24, 2020, to August 23, 2020 . During this time we encourage you to continue registering, making teams, and raising community awareness. You can register HERE

In the interim, let's turn this event virtual! You can create your own unique page, post pictures, share comments and more! The summer 2020 Hike for Hospice Vaughan will feature the MEMORY WALK and FAMILY PICNIC, details to follow.

If you have any questions about the event, or the postponement please contact Diane at diane@hospicevaughan.com
Committed to providing support for our community Hospice Vaughan has temporarily moved to a virtual platform. Hospice Vaughan clients are part of a more vulnerable group due to COVID-19, for this reason we have updated and adapted our programs and services to continue meeting their needs while following the guidelines of Public Health Canada. During this difficult time our clients, along with their loved ones and caregivers need our support more than ever.

All programs and services are offered to the community free of charge, to ensure that we are able to continue to provide this much needed support, we hope we can count on you. We understand these are difficult times but if you're able, donations can be made by clicking HERE . We appreciate your support on any level.

Compassionate Communities

Hospice Vaughan has adopted the compassionate communities theory of practice and model. At the core of this model lies a compassionate city. Our goal here is to open up a forum to the community and encourage people to advocate, provide assistance, and share valuable tips and information. Share, assist, encourage, support, and connect! Compassionate communities respond to local community needs, empower individuals, and provide important information and support. To join our compassionate communities group click HERE
Legacy Pages and Tribute Giving

Legacy pages are a way for loved ones to remember and celebrate those who've passed away. Loved ones can share memories, stories, and photos on the page. The page can also be used to direct donations to Hospice Vaughan in honour of a loved one. If you would like to have a Legacy Page set up for your loved one please contact Diane at diane@hospicevaughan.com

If you would like to make a one time tribute gift please visit our website at www.hospicevaughan.com or click here
