Greetings MLS Families,

The holidays will soon be upon us. It has been our tradition to take up a collection for the teachers at Christmas time. If you would like to participate in this collection, you can contribute by clicking here.

Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday, November 24th from 1:30pm - 4pm and 6 - 8 pm using Zoom conferencing scheduled with PTC Wizard. In case you misplaced the link to sign into PTC wizard, here it is:

You will see a screen like your Blackbaud login and your user name and password are the same as Blackbaud. A few things to keep in mind. You do not need to schedule a conference with study hall or Advisory teachers, or classes where your student is doing well and you have no questions for the teacher. Also, please make sure you click on the Zoom icon on the left side of the screen for each teacher when you schedule so that the Zoom conference can be automatically set. If you already scheduled meetings and did not click on the zoom icon, please use the link to go back into the program and click the zoom icon on the left. There are two conferences listed, the first one is for the afternoon session and the second one is for the evening session. You may schedule in both sessions if needed. If you booked a conference in error, you can delete the conference. Should you have any questions or run into problems, please contact Mr. Fredericksen at [email protected] .

Your child may be videoed during class for different activities. If you do not want your child videoed, please respond to this email by Nov. 25th.

Please mark your calendars, Tuesday, December 8th, all grades will be dismissed at 12:33pm.

A reminder to our hybrid students to get their COVID testing done according to the cycle shared earlier this month. The following groups are next:

Nov. 21 - 30: Last Name M-Q

Dec. 1 - 8: Last Name R - Z

Families, please adhere to the restrictions stated by Governor Cuomo in regards to Holiday gatherings and travel. We continue to strive to keep our community safe! The next Principal Post will be December 6th. Of course, I will share important information when necessary.

Reminders

Although mail in Charleston Wrap orders is no longer an option, you can still purchase online until December 7th.
Parents please remember to check your email and blackbaud messages frequently.
Students must remain on camera throughout the day, for each and every class.
Students must submit work using their blackbaud account. Students should not email an assignment that a teacher instructed them to submit on blackbaud.
Students must sign up for at least one college fair. There are many links posted on the Counselor Corner on Blackbaud.
Students must submit the daily health screening sent out by Ms. Boyle each morning.
Zoom codes can be found on Blackbaud on each class page. In the event a teacher is absent, an assignment will be posted on Blackbaud under their class page.
