Posts from the Principal- 12/13/20
Week 13 of the 20-21 School Year
"He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth,  for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.  He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
Luke 1: 14-17
Greetings MLS Families,

The holidays will soon be upon us. It has been our tradition to take up a collection for the teachers at Christmas time. If you would like to participate in this collection, you can contribute by clicking here.

Christmas is a time to remember and honor special people in our lives. With a donation of $25 or more you will receive the 2020 Christmas Memory Ornament and we will place a ribbon on the MLS Christmas tree with the name of the special person you would like to honor or memorialize. Please see below for additional information.

Since many of you are doing your Holiday Shopping, it is a great opportunity for you to increase MLS's AmazonSmile donations. You can make an impact while you shop! Simply shop at smile.amazon.com/ch/20-3757141 and AmazonSmile will donate to Martin Luther Foundation Inc, at no cost to you.

A reminder to our hybrid students to get their COVID testing done according to the cycle shared earlier this month. Please communicate your date of testing and submit your results to Ms. Boyle.

The following groups are next:
Dec. 9 - 18 Last Name A- D
Jan. 18 - 25 Last Name E - L

As part of our commitment to love and care for others, we are collecting new unwrapped toys to give to children that might not otherwise receive gifts for Christmas. We are alsocollecting canned food and non-perishable food items. If you would like to drop off food or a toy, please do so between the hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm. There is a container immediately when you enter the first set of doors of the main entrance that you may leave these items to avoid fully entering the building.

The next principal post will be January 3, 2021. I would like to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. As we bring this difficult year to a close, let us reflect on the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
