Are you paying attention to your municipality?
Just this past week Hallowell and Gardiner expressed that they would like to become sanctuary cities.
This is purely a political move, a symbolic act against the President’s Executive Orders this past week. Sadly, if they follow through with these wishes it can have very real effects on the people who currently live in these municipalities.
Just last year it was revealed that a refugee constituent of Speaker Gideon (D-Freeport) held extremist meetings in his home before he went overseas to fight for ISIS.
In a time where we do not have adequate vetting for the sheer volume of refugees coming into our country, it is important that we take a step back and focus on how to protect our towns, cities and state.
Call the Hallowell and Gardiner representatives today and tell them to stop this charade!
