Best Wishes to Kate Simmons

Pottawattamie Conservation would like to send best wishes to a departing teammate.

Kate has served as Community Relations Coordinator for Pottawattamie Conservation for the last 8 years & during that time has been a valuable team member. Most regular visitors to Hitchcock Nature Center will recognize her from the welcome desk & if you follow our social media accounts, read our weekly blog & monthly newsletters, or visit our website you've encountered her important work.

We wish her well on her future adventures & thank her for all her hard work for Pottawattamie Conservation.
Thank You Volunteers!
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month & our amazing Pottawattamie Conservation volunteers are a huge part of our successes. From trail maintenance to office assistance our volunteers do it all.

In a normal year these volunteers are invaluable but during the upheaval of 2020 & the COVID-19 pandemic these volunteers took on even more risk as they worked to support Pottawattamie Conservation & the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation.

We would like to send our humble thanks to these generous, dedicated, & loyal individuals for all of their hard work.
