“Once upon a time, when women were birds,
there was the simple understanding that
to sing at dawn and to sing at dusk
was to heal the world through joy.
The birds still remember what we have forgotten,
that the world is meant to be celebrated.”

~Terry Tempest Williams

Today, we can choose to follow the direction of the birds.
What is meant to be healed and celebrated in your world?

You Can’t Get There from Here
Rev. Virginia Jarocha-Ernst and Linda Stehlik

You can’t get there from here really means we don’t know how to get there . Spring bird migration is in high gear, and the birds offer a lesson in the faith that going forward matters. Any threshold, any movement, from here to there holds some mystery. We might think we know where we are going, but we can’t know for sure until we get there. And even then, we might be surprised at what we find there.

Music by Louise Chernosky and Rev. Craig Rubano.
