REC’s member-funded grant program, The Power of Change, awarded $104,000 to 39 organizations across 22 Virginia counties.

The funding supports diverse projects, from emergency services, health care, and food security to education and programs for underserved populations.

REC makes it is easy for anyone to provide a little help on a friend, neighbor or relative’s electric account. It’s as easy as gifting a loved one with a gift card, but it can have a huge impact.

To give the gift of electricity, you just simply fill out the form and return it, with the funds to help someone, by mail with your electric bill. Your friend’s or relative’s electric account will be credited in the amount of your gift and you will receive confirmation.
