 In the wine world, there are two styles of producing wine: "Old World" and "New World" (depending on where the wine is typically produced). Merlot produced in France will have more subtle earthy tones, and Merlot in California will be bursting with fruit tones and is more in your face. The same goes with beer. I.P.A. that most of you are familiar with have big citrus and pine notes that jump out of the glass and after drinking leave your palate washed away with a grassy aftertaste. I for one am a big fan of I.P.A. On the other hand, Meantime, which is produced in England, is the "Old World" side of the coin. The hops in this beer are more floral and subdued; you still get all the typical characteristics, but to me it seems to be less in your face and pairs well with food. The color of the beer is golden and the head is off-white egg shell; the lacing is thick as you drink down the beer you will have a little bit of sediment on the sides of the glass. On the nose, floral hops take charge with pine and white flowers, not overbearing at all. In drinking, I get a medium body and the nose confirms the palate with a bit of creaminess. I would pair this  

beer with brie stuffed  

rosemary chicken breast.
