Practical Language and Strategies

to Manage Anxiety

May 10, 2023 | 6-7:30pm on Zoom

Join us for our annual Stratford Foundation Memorial Lecture in honor of

such board members as Marie Hayes and Noreen Casey, who were

valued board members for many years.

With the continued climb in anxiety in children, educators and students need to be equipped with key information, practical language and productive responses to decrease anxiety.

Using A.B.C. Worry Free as a reference tool, we will address misunderstandings about anxiety and learn:

  • How anxiety works
  • Common patterns of anxiety and how to interrupt them
  • Communication tips for the classroom and beyond
  • An actionable strategy to manage anxiety

When you give anxiety what it needs—not what it wants—it boosts attention, focus, and productivity, so students can stress less, think clearer, and work smarter!

Registration is required. You will receive a Zoom link the day before the session.
