You can receive $10 per acre on up to 200 acres or 10% of your farmed acres (whichever is larger) and $5 per acre on everything above that.
There are no limits on the number of acres you can enroll, and no requirements on the species or seeding method used.

PFI is launching our spring fundraising campaign and we need your support. While much of our overall program funding comes from grants, your donations are the most important contributions we get; this unrestricted income allows us to respond directly and nimbly to our farmers’ priorities.
This year we are sowing the seeds of change, with your support, by:
- launching a new and improved Savings Incentive Program for beginning farmers
- expanding our technical assistance cost-share programs to include rotational grazing and edge-of-field conservation
- driving the food and farming narrative by building on the success of our award-winning documentary, “Livestock on the Land,” with a new video series.
