Equipping farmers to build resilient farms and communities.
From the PFI staff to all our hardworking members and supporters:

Thank you for your work, labors and dedication to putting food on the table this Thanksgiving, and throughout the year, and for supporting local food systems and farmers.

We are grateful for your support, your creativity and willingness to share your experiences, your commitment to more resilient farms and communities and your embrace of PFI's big-tent philosophy that welcomes and respects people of all backgrounds, farming practices and perspectives.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with friends, family and the joy of breaking bread together.
In this keynote, restoration biologist Laura Jackson will explore this rich past, the story it tells about the Iowa of today – and how together, even in face of climate change, we can move towards a common horizon in an ecosystem that will provide joy and sustenance to future generations.

We are bringing lightning talks back to the session offerings at our 2022 annual conference, and are looking for farmers interesting in sharing some of their insights, ideas and experiences.

Unlike standard sessions, lightning talks are short (just 8 minutes each!), and, hopefully, exciting to watch.
