Equipping farmers to build resilient farms and communities.
On Tuesday, Practical Farmers of Iowa hosted executives from the Unilever for a field tour showcasing how Iowa farmers are using cover crops and small grains.

Aaron White and Joe Dunn of Carlisle, Iowa, and Will and Cassie Cannon of Prairie City, Iowa, shared information about how cover crops and small grains in rotation with row crops are critical to improving soil health and water quality on their farms.

Unilever has supported PFI members planting cover crops since 2015. The Unilever team loved the field of cereal rye, ready to be harvested on Aaron White and Joe Dunn’s farm.
PFI is seeking a diligent, respectful and passionate person to serve as a senior human resources coordinator. The operations department provides PFI with tools, information and personnel so the organization can carry out its mission.

We’re also seeking a livestock viability manager to lead our efforts to grow regenerative livestock systems and help diverse, independent livestock farmers thrive.

Stennie Nelson was featured on "The Big Show" on NEWSRADIO 1040 WHO last Wednesday.
