Join Us in Celebrating Professional Engineers Day on August 6

NSPE-MA invites you to join us in celebrating the 10th annual Professional Engineers Day with local colleagues and fellow PEs around the world!

Below you'll find practical ways that you can help us continue to raise awareness about what it means to be a PE, recognize licensed PEs, and show appreciation for the work they do every day.

NSPE champions the PE license and protects its integrity to promote a constant focus on public health, safety, and welfare. Learn more about licensure and the steps to get and maintain your license.

Practical Ways You Can Promote PE Licensure

Visit the official Professional Engineers Day page to learn how NSPE Members are celebrating licensure and the Profession today and every day, and to access official PE Day logos to share on your social media.

How You Can Promote Professional Licensure on PE Day and Beyond:

  • Share your reasons for becoming a PE on social media using #LicensedPEday
  • Educate. Let others know why the PE License is important
  • Celebrate your team! Post photos or videos.
  • Invite colleagues to Join NSPE / NSPE-MA
  • Display your favorite engineering materials or resources
  • Recognize PEs in your workplace

The first professional engineering license was issued on August 8, 1907 to Charles Bellamy in Wyoming. Since then, licensure has expanded and PEs across the U.S. have made the commitment to protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
