Attracting Transformational Leaders, A Panel Discussion Presented by Orr Group

Orr Group is partnering with   Two Sigma  on Wednesday, July 24 to host a discussion with several remarkable leaders in our sector who will share their tips and stories on building New York City’s most effective fundraising boards. The panel will feature:

Orr Group Team Members Ride to End ALS

From June 21-23, Managing Director, Craig Shelley and Senior Associate Director, Jordan Ritchie participated in ALS-TDI's Tri-State Trek, a 270-mile bike ride from Boston, MA to Greenwich, CT that raises money for ALS research. Other members of the Orr Group team, Rebecca Emami , Director, Abby Carlson, Associate Director and Shea Hermann, Associate, showed their support throughout the weekend.

The Tri-State Trek has raised over $8 million since its start in 2003. We are proud to partner with ALS-TDI and support their life-changing work!

On Wednesday, June 19, Orr Group sponsored Women in Development NY's Women of Achievement Award Luncheon . Several of our team members attended as Ruth C. Browne, SD, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ronald McDonald House New York was honored. Ronald McDonald House New York has been our partner for the past two years, and we have worked closely to develop their major gifts program.

We are honored to support WiD and their efforts to increase diversity in the fundraising field!

FRDNY 2019 Recap
It was another great year at AFP-NYC's Fundraising Day in New York 2019! Throughout the day, Orr Group team members attended sessions and learned from over 1,800 other fundraising professionals. We also had the privilege of sponsoring this year's luncheon and were so inspired by the remarks of keynote speaker Fatima Shama, Executive Director of The Fresh Air Fund.

Additionally, team members Craig Shelley , Managing Director and CJ Orr , Chief Operating Officer moderated two panel discussions focused on campaign leadership and corporate and foundation giving.

What was clear throughout the day is that the challenges and opportunities of fundraising remain great. The important work the nonprofit community does increasingly requires more philanthropic capital to be successful, and we're ready to help. Contact us today to learn more about our services !
