"Ultimately, human intentionality is the most powerful
evolutionary  force on this planet."

- George Leonard

We have the opportunity to collectively write the next chapter in these transformative times, but to be intentional in creating this narrative requires a clear understanding of our own personal story. The first ITP commitment reminds us that each of us "takes full responsibility for our practice. I am my own authority."

Understanding what it means to be the author of our own life is the first step in finding ways to be of service to the larger community, and this month's newsletter focuses on resources to reflect and review our own practice and how we can empower ourselves to live more authentically.

Stay safe, well and alert!

If you missed the event on June 21st, you can catch the replay of PURPOSE EARTH and get inspired by this  global, virtual event creatively weaving our interconnected stories and catalyzing real-world impact through music, conversation, movement, and inspiration. This cross-cultural, multigenerational experience joyfully champions humanity and planet Earth as we dance, dream, and grow together. ITPI President, Pam Kramer, makes a special appearance as well!
An at-a-glance infographic to remind us of the power of taking responsibility of our personal practice, and how this intentionality ultimately creates a more intentional and healthy community.

Explore what it means to be the author of your life and embody your human potential through this three-part talk with Michael Murphy and Jeff Kripal, presented at Esalen in 2012. In each moment we are rewriting our bodies and minds. Jeff Kripal talks about bringing consciousness and awareness to this process so we can write ourselves from the depths or our beings rather than playing out the scripts we were handed.
PRACTICE:  Getting Intentional About Your Personal Practice

Reflect and review your personal practice and how it is serving you in these current times. Are there areas where you could focus more deeply, or do you find some elements of your practice are no longer serving you?

Here are a few questions to help you get started:

What does practice mean to you? How do you describe your practice?

How does your practice benefit you?

What examples of how your practice shows up when you really need it?

"There is a human striving for self-transcendence. It's part of what makes us human. With all of our flaws we want to go a little bit further than we've gone before and maybe even further than anyone else has gone before."

- George Leonard
