PracticePoint Announces New Equipment and ‘Medical Imaging Day’ Open House on 3/16 | |
Mass Digital Health Sandbox member PracticePoint at WPI recently announced new equipment and services available to their members. To their MRI Imaging Suite, they've added:
- NordicNeuroLab InroomViewingDevice Portable 40" LCD monitor;
- MRI conditional anesthesia cart with ventilator and isoflurane vaporizer;
- Stryker Aria MRI conditional surgical drill; and
- Medtronic Visualase MRI-guided laser ablation system.
To the Patient Clinical Care Suites, specifically the ICU/NICU Suite, they've added:
- GE LOGIQ E9 Ultrasound machine with a set of imaging features enabled;
- Linear probe (L8-18i), Covex (C1-6), and 4D (RAB6-D) ultrasound probes;
- NDI Aurora electromagnetic tracking system;
- Rescue Randy bodyweight training mannequin; and
- Juno clinical skills nursing mannequin.

Kinto, a provider of personal care coaching to family caregivers to support and guide them through one of life’s most challenging journeys; and

MITRE, a federally funded research and development center that specializes in bringing innovative ideas into existence.
As finalists in MeHI’s Innovations to Support Caregiving Challenge, Power of Patients and Kinto received grant funding to work with MITRE to further test and validate their solutions.

E for All Social Impact Pitch Contest | |
Entrepreneurship for All is hosting a Social Impact Pitch Contest on Thursday, May 1, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in Salem, Mass. The contest will help early-stage entrepreneurs gain valuable exposure and feedback.
The event is a great opportunity to network, validate a business idea, and compete to win a cash prize. A total of four cash prizes will be given out (1st place $1000, 2nd place $750, 3rd place $500, and a $500 Fan Favorite prize). The event is free for entrepreneurs to apply and free for all to attend. The deadline to apply is April 13, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.
