Returning to the Prague Summer Nights: Young Artists Music Festival for his fourth consecutive season, for the first time ever, Walter Seyfarth Berliner Philharmoniker clarinetist, since 1985 will perform Mozart 's Clarinet Concerto in A Major at the historic Estates Theatre ...the very venue Viennese clarinetist Anton Stadler premiered the piece on October 16, 1791.
2018 PSN Festival Orchestra Performs
Dvořák's Ninth, Sibelius' Second
Artistic Director John Nardolillo conducts the 2015 PSN Festival Orchestra at Estates
Also on stage at the beautifully restored Estates Theatre the only theatre left standing where Mozart, himself, conducted PSN Artistic Director John Nardolillo will lead the Prague Summer Nights Festival Orchestra in Dvořák 's Symphony No. 9 in E minor ("From the New World"). Meanwhile, for PSN's third straight trip to the Bohemian town of Tábor , maestro Nardolillo will conduct the orchestra in Sibelius ' Symphony No. 2 in D Major .
New Chamber Music at PSN:
World Premiere of Greg Sandow's String Quartet

In another first for the festival, Prague Summer Nights 2018 will hear the world premiere of acclaimed composer and critic Greg Sandow 's brand-new string quartet, commissioned specifically for PSN participants, care of Classical Movements ' Eric Daniel Helms New Music Program . Students will have the opportunity to work directly with the composer on both preparation and performance of his piece.
