Our August Outreach Project is hairbrushes – natural bristles, Hairbrushes- nylon bristles and

Hair gel and hair spray for Domestic Violence clients.

Disciples Mission Fund makes it possible for us to do more together than we can alone. Because of DMF, lives are transformed and ministry happens across the church and around the world.

Congregations are stronger when they participate in Disciples Mission Fund because they are part of something much larger than themselves – DMF makes it possible for Disciples to do ministry in places far beyond their own community.

Plus, congregations benefit from DMF in tangible ways as well: support from their regional minister through the search and call process, sending kids to church camp, ministry interns from Disciples seminaries, global mission partners, and so much more.

On September 12, 2024, we will host live events, share stories and resources, and have a worshipful time of prayer in gratitude for the difference that the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is making. $19.84 was raised by 12 households who have linked their Kroger customer reward cards to support Prairie Avenue Christian Church. The quarterly contribution is for shopping at Kroger from April 1 - June 30, 2024

Because our total quarterly contribution is less than $25, which is the minimum check amount, we will not be receiving a check at this time. This amount will be held and combined with your next quarter's contribution total until your contribution amount exceeds $25. At the time your total contribution reaches $25, or the end of the program term, whichever comes first, your organization will then receive a check.

Share Your Faith by inviting 5 people to church this year

The God you worship is always revealed through your words and actions. Awkward conversations (i.e. "Are you saved?") are not necessary when your words and actions reveal the God you seek to learn, love, and serve.
