Why Attend?

Vote on By-Laws revisions

Please review proposed revisions to the Canadian Prairies Chapter By-laws- Revised May 2026. We are required to follow HIMSS global template for chapter by-laws, so there are only a few spots that are available for editing. Key proposed revisions include:

  • template clean-up
  • update to board composition and titles
  • update to term duration from 1 to 2 years
  • clarification of the election process: Officers are elected by members, Directors are appointed by the board
  • creation of the 'Presidential Leadership Track' policy to support the by-laws
