The Incarcerated Patient Perspective on Implementation of an Integrated Health Information System

Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 12PM (MST)

In 2010, Alberta became the first province to bring Correctional Health under the Ministry of Health — paving the way for a fully integrated model of care. Today, Alberta Health Services is advancing that vision through digital transformation, including the implementation of an integrated Clinical Information System (CIS) across provincial correctional facilities.

How do you deploy a province-wide CIS in one of healthcare’s most complex and secure environments?

Join us to explore lessons learned, implementation challenges, and strategies to strengthen continuity of care from custody to community.

We are very proud for achieving Silver Recognition among HIMSS chapters. This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the local community through innovative programs and dedicated volunteer service.

Bootcamp Series is designed to build foundational knowledge in digital health. This three-part interactive webinar series offers insights into healthcare technology foundations, trends, and career opportunities.
