Boosterthon Fun Run Thank You

Thank you for supporting our Fun Run fundraiser! We exceeded our goal and students had a blast at the run as well as participating in character building events throughout the week. We couldn’t do this without you! We are very excited to put the funds raised back into our school by updating our library, purchasing indoor recess carts/games, and investing in classroom resources that enrich the learning of our students.

Parents interested in enrolling their child in the elementary Mosaic program in grades 3 through 6 should plan to attend the upcoming information meeting on Thursday, January 10 at 6:00 pm in the Media Center. Visit the Mosaic website for more information.

Save the date for the Prairie View Carnival!

Join us at Prairie View on Saturday, March 23rd from 1-4 for games, raffles, silent auction and more!

We need YOU to make our carnival a success! There are a few open chair positions we need to fill:

Classroom Baskets: collect donations and coordinate assembly of baskets for the silent auction. Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to get volunteers.

Junior Carnival: coordinate games for our littlest Carnival attendees, setup room, order prizes. Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to get volunteers.

Parent Room Chair: coordinate activities within the Parent Room as well as setup with help of the Carnival Chairs. Work with PV Facilities for in-classroom needs and with Volunteer Coordinator to get volunteers.

Raffle Chair: coordinate donation items for the raffle prizes. Contact organizations and work with carnival chair to setup prize bundles.

And we are always looking for donations of big items for raffle.

Look for our Carnival packet coming home in March that will give information about volunteering at Carnival, donating items for silent auction, and more.

This year, students held a vote on election day to choose a student-designed cover for their yearbook. We had over 75 entries! Congratulations to our winner Nicholas Song! Yearbooks can be ordered online now through April 8, 2019. Books are $17 and include full color pages with sturdy soft cover and current events insert. There are add-ons available for you to customize your yearbook as you wish.

Hearing and Vision Volunteers

Assist health professionals in hearing and vision testing of students. January 9 and 10 . No experience necessary.

Lost and Found

Our lost and found is again overflowing!

If you have lost an item: jacket, lunchbox, glasses, gloves, or even one shoe please search our lost and found located in the 200 hallway and lunchroom. Please put your child's name on any item that comes to school. This cuts down on the detective work of figuring out what belongs to who.
