Join us on Thursday, September 13th for Parent Information Night . This evening is designed for teachers to share their classroom schedule and grade level curriculum.

It is also a time to connect with other parents as well as sign up for volunteer opportunities available in your students classroom.

All Prairie View families are automatically part of the PTO. Together, we improve student life and learning through school-wide events and fundraising for classrooms. Everyone can take part in our mission from simply sending in boxtops to volunteering for a short shift at an event to joining the board. All levels of involvement are appreciated and important.

We welcome everyone who is able to attend! Meetings are not mandatory, but a chance to meet other parents, get updates from teachers, and discuss fundraising and events as a group. We will meet 4 times over the school year.

This year's picnic includes a DJ, raffle, dunk tank, pie in the face, open playground time, Meal Deal - Burger, Chips, Water, & Custard for $7 or a la carte, and EPHS Marching Band performance. Remember to bring your own chairs or blankets!

Prairie View is working with Sheridan Story to support our children and families with a consistent supply of nutritious food every weekend. It is completely free, there are no qualification requirements, and your family’s privacy is protected. If you choose to participate, your child will receive a 4-5 pound bag of non-perishable food at the end of each school week. You may opt out at any time. Look for a postcard describing the program in your child’s backpack today. If you are interested, please send back the postcard or contact Julie Weeden, Prairie View school social worker, at 952-975-8844 .

Eden Prairie Elementary Cross Country Race

Thursday, October 4, 2018 Central Middle School (Track)

T his race is being sponsored by the EPHS Cross Country team. In conjunction with the physical fitness being taught in each elementary school, it is an opportunity for kids to enjoy running as a lifetime activity. There is no cost to participate, and each student who participates in the race will receive a free t-‐shirt. Preregistration is appreciated, but runners will be allowed to register on race day until 4:15.

First race is at 4:30 (arrive by 4:00)—should be completed by 6:00
