Getting Answers
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
Something's been bothering me. As I watch the public response to the Coronavirus pandemic, why aren't people talking about seeking God's answers to this?
All kinds of activity is underway. Researchers are trying to find a cure. People have scrambled to staff medical facilities and secure personal protective equipment. Business and government leaders are developing a hodgepodge of plans to get people back to work and spending money again.
Yet in all the busyness, I don't hear many people publicly saying we need to seek God for answers.
Seeing the world brought to a virtual standstill has caused me to ask questions. Why are we here? Why has this happened? How do we get out? How do we heal?
There are answers to be found. But will pride and stubbornness prevent us from getting them?
There is no way the world will recover from the pandemic successfully without guidance from the Living God. And He is willing to provide it if we allow Him to lead us. Without His wisdom, we will suffer and not experience His peace. Without His hand at the helm, a powerful few will prosper and decide that others are expendable. Without the Lord, I am concerned that depression, destitution, hopelessness and suicide will become commonplace.
My goal is not to be morbid, but to stir us all to wake up, repent, humble ourselves, and seek the Lord - not just His answers, but to seek Him. We need Him to heal us and our land.

The following is Part 2 of Tyeisha George's Praise Report. Tyeisha had been house hunting for months and getting discouraged, not able to find a home she wanted in her price range:
"Fast forward to October. I was still actively looking, and still nothing. So, I gave up, because I was tired. Thinking, "Maybe I'm not supposed to have my own home, maybe God wants me to be still. I've looked everywhere".
One night in late October, I had a dream. I never dream (well, I never remember them). But this one was clear. I birthed twins. Effortlessly. So out of curiosity I wondered what the dream meant. So, my friend, Joe, introduced me to his mother, Ms. Marshall (Pastor Tedi Marshall). And from our first conversation I felt a sense of peace. I told her about my dream, and she told me that the dream meant I was going to have double for my trouble! (That's a great place to start shouting!) God knew what I was going through, and He was going to deliver me from my pain and give me more than I have room to receive. She told me that I needed to fast and pray and really listen to God's voice. I did just that.
Less than a month after that conversation I was under contract on a home that I THOUGHT was out of budget. The sales agent was able to cut $5K off the listing price. This home had things that I didn't know I wanted. New Construction! Smart Home! Better Neighborhood! 10 minutes away from work! And just when I thought God was done, I was able to secure a 2.9% interest rate. So, I now have a mortgage that is $250 less than what I thought I would be paying! On December 19, 2019 I closed on my dream home. And God definitely gave me double for my trouble! Be blessed!"

If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day.
I believe You are alive and seated at the right hand of the Father.
I believe you died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
Please come into my heart and my life, and be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
