Uncomfortable for His Purpose

I mean for real, for real...
This season has been one of the most uncomfortable seasons of my life. I'm not just talking about 2020; but the last decade. God has stretched me, matured me, and loved beyond anything I've ever experienced.
When I asked God why He allowed me to be in this uncomfortable place, He said, "I wasn't interested in you being comfortable. I was interested in your growth. I knew if I allowed some things to happen, I would get more growth from you in an uncomfortable place rather than a comfortable place."
God also said, "I didn't allow it to hurt you, but to heal you. When your perspective changed you realized the hurting was a part of the healing process."
Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
No matter what it looks like, God has the master plan; and Daddy God's heart for you is to love you to life in all areas of your life! I am so excited to be a daughter of the King of kings! Thank you, Jesus!

"The next morning Wednesday, after the shooting incident, I took my niece to day care and logged on to my scheduled Zoom interview. During my interview, I almost made it through with no thought about the prior night's incidents. Then the repair man from the glass company called and it all came flooding back. I made it through the Zoom, crawled into bed and canceled the rest of my events for that day. The scene just kept replaying over and over in my head and I couldn't stop crying. I was scared. I was mad. I was disappointed and sad about the state of the world especially here in Chicago. I pulled it together enough to pick up my niece from daycare and then got right back in bed. I tuned in to Bishop T.D. Jakes' Bible study later that night and it was titled "Children of the Promise". It resonated and I just began to pray and thank God until I fell asleep.
On Thursday morning, I woke up with JOY!!!!! My niece and I were ALIVE!!!!! We survived the enemy's attack!!! Who was I to wallow in "what could have been"? The devil tried to kill me! But he didn't!!! All I could and wanted to do was praise God for his amazing grace and mercy and PROTECTION!!!!!
HALLELUJAH!!!!! OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!!!!"

Salvation or Restoration
If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day. I believe You are alive and seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe you died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
Please come into my heart and my life, and be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
