Let Him Love You - Fully
Pt. 2
"We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. As a fair exchange-I speak as to my children-open wide your hearts also." 2 Corinthians 6:11-13 NIV
The Apostle Paul and his fellow ministers visited Corinth, exhorting the people to fully open their hearts to them and seek the fellowship the Lord desires for His people to enjoy with each other:
Paul's situation with the Corinthians can be compared with how we can be with the Lord. The Lord brings His open heart to us. He loves us completely, and wants us to love Him in return. His love does not come with an agenda - other than wanting us to know and experience how wonderful His love is.
But we can be resistant. We can let a host of things - such as fear, anger, frustration, disappointment, worries, doubts and pride - constrict the opening of our hearts. We can decide to clamp down on the flow of emotions between the Lord and us. That leads to a lukewarm and ultimately cold relationship that totally shortchanges us and deeply grieves God.
The Lord is asking you to allow Him in.
He won't make you, but He is asking that you choose to open your heart to Him.
For some of you, He is extending an urgent, heartfelt call, asking you to return to Him.
The benefits to saying yes have no limit!

"I had to make a very challenging phone call; in fact, I put it off twice. But today God said do it. I said, 'Okay God, I need your wisdom and guidance'; to which He responded, 'I'm with you!' I made the call. When the person on the other end who would assist me with the issue picked up the call, she introduced herself saying, 'Hello, this is Yahweh, how can I assist you today?'
When she said her name I was like, 'Wait, hold up, did I hear her correctly?' God had me pray for her at the end of our call. She was dealing with depression and God had me, whose name means "happy," minister to her about God's plan for her life and then to pray deliverance from depression. You can't tell me that God's love is not real!

Salvation or Restoration
If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day.
I believe You are alive and seated at the right hand of the Father.
I believe you died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
Please come into my heart and my life, and be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
Thank You, Lord.
