This week we are asked to consider the soberest of statements, that baptism is a sign of death. Paul said we are baptized into the death of Christ. This is not morbid though it may sound so. Can we really give up nothing at baptism? Can we really not die at all? Did Jesus die only to change us a little? What does it mean to die with Christ?

Income in October was low despite having a month of 5 Sundays. YTD income and expenses are at the budget level. We hope giving will be robust in November and December to overcome the current deficit. Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to your church.

BGAV Annual Meeting ~ Celebrating 200 Years
