Sickness and Healing

The last few months our family seemed to be perpetually sick. Praise God we are all healthy now! Luke started preschool right before Joy was born, and unfortunately it seems he’s brought a lot of different sicknesses home over the last couple months. Poor little baby Joy got something called “RSV” and had to be hospitalized for 5 days. Tim recently got covid and was unable to do ministry or anything for over 2 weeks. Our entire family tested negative for covid last week. We are thanking God for healing and that this season of sickness is behind us.

Pray for Asia

Between covid and government persecution it is a very rough situation in Asia right now. We continue to get lots of reports from our work in Asia, most of which are prayer requests. We want to ask ALL of our friends to pray for the believers in Asia and the persecution they are going through.

Recently we received a report from some of our partners in Asia. A church has been meeting in their apartment for years and recently it has grown to 80 people! This means they’ve had 80 people gathering in an apartment to worship Jesus! They’ve decided the church is too big to meet in their apartment, so they are starting two more house churches! They went on to tell us, “God has been doing a miraculous work, He keeps bringing people to us!”

Please pray for the church in Asia!

One of our students in Africa named Bonaventure, has seen incredible changes taking place in his life and ministry ever since he joined N2NCU. As he shares with his neighbors what he has learned about farming, they have become extremely successful in farming. They dig channels in their fields which has stopped them from being washed away by erosion in the hilly areas. He has been able to expand his tailoring business, employing more people and building a more productive team. Many young people in his community now have jobs. Bonaventure's faith has increased. He passionately preaches the gospel of Jesus, leading rallies and evangelistic outreaches. More and more people are attending. God is moving mightily through him and his church!
