CALL TO PRAYER

The Apostle Paul said in I Thessalonians 5:25, “Brethren, pray for us.” If he needed prayer, then all ministers today need it too. Ministers are often targeted by evil spiritual forces due to their positions of authority and power within the Church. Pray for your leaders! War for your pastor! Intercede fervently for all ministers and the fivefold ministry! (Matthew 11:12) Please join us in prayer & fasting for the Ministry.

PRAY:

  • Against all attacks of the enemy upon the Ministry that are not according to God’s will. (Isaiah 54:17)
  • For divine healing, strength, good health, courage, joy, peace, comfort, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, etc. (III John 1:2)
  • For God to meet all needs spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, provisionally, etc. (Philippians 4:19)
  • For God's love, compassion, mercy, grace, protection, direction, power, favor, blessings & intervention in all things. (Matthew 21:22)
  • Spirit-led prayers and for God’s will for the Ministry and for all other unlisted needs. (Romans 8:26-28)

Hands Up!

“Hands Up” is not a sign of surrender for us when in the midst of the battle against the enemy. But on the other hand, it is quite the contrary. In this case, it is a symbol of prayer and support. (I Kings 8:54, Psalm 144:2) When Moses lowered his hands in the battle due to fatigue, Aaron and Hur interceded by holding up his hands, and the enemy was defeated. (Exodus 17:8-13) Truly, Moses was in good hands! This biblical account is a powerful allegory of the role that intercessors play in the success of a ministry. Likewise, intercessors can stand in the gap and help carry the burdens by holding up the hands of our ministers and those who lead the fight in the spiritual battles of the Church, so that the victory may be wrought!

The Apostle Paul stated, “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” (II Thessalonians 3:1-2) Even earlier, Paul had expressed “Brethren, pray for us” in I Thessalonians 5:25. It is evident that one of a minister’s primary responsibilities is to deliver the messages that God has given. And prayer provides a covering from the attack of the enemy and other hindrances that would attempt to prohibit the Word from coming forth.

The Apostle Paul needed a helping hand and requested prayer so that the message he was carrying would have free course (go forth unhindered) in God’s full power and anointing. Paul also recognized that the enemy would try to impede progress directly through the work of wickedness and evil men, as he often faced opposition. Likewise, it is so for all ministers who have a message(s) that God has given to relay.

Do not allow the adversary or the flesh to hinder you from prayer to pray for the Ministry. When either attempt to do so, say “talk to the hand” and shun any opposition, and then get that hand up in the air with the other one, in prayer and support. If the Apostle Paul needed prayer, then surely all ministers today need it too!

Let’s put our hands up in prayer today and pray for the Ministry greater than we have ever prayed before! Pray for every minister and their family, applicably. Pray against every form of opposition that is not according to God's will. Surely, “the Hand of God” will work on behalf of the Ministry … and because we hold their hands up by prayerfully putting our “hands up,” then we all will win, “hands down!”

The World Network of Prayer Presents

24/7 WATCH: A Year-Round Initiative for 24/7 Prayer

As of January 1, 2023, WNOP has continued the 24/7 prayer and fasting chain worldwide. It has been such a great success in 2022 that it was requested again. Each week WNOP is posting a prayer focus as daily prayer for the entire week. Also, weekly a video is posted on the WNOP Facebook Page of a prayer leader and/or minister leading in periodic prayer.

Many people throughout the world have signed up by committing in their hearts unto God that they will consistently join together in united prayer and fasting. WNOP also has partnered with those in local churches who are already a part of a current 24-hour prayer chain. All of these hours of consecration are culminating to help provide a complete mass prayer covering over the entire Church body and to help bring greater success in all that we do in Christ! Together, let’s “watch and pray” and behold great and mighty things in the kingdom of God! Let’s prevail over the enemy with victory and declare, “Not on My Watch!”

HOPE Ministry

A ministry for our beloved prodigals and we who love them, will once again pray beginning April 1 through June 29. We will pray and very loosely follow the daily topics of the book, Prayers For Prodigals, by Dr. James Banks for 90 Days.

There will be daily posts with prayers. Follow on IG or FB @Hope2Hope15.

High Hope Ministries

A ministry founded by two former prodigals who have been prayed home. No one can relate to another’s pain unless they have walked a similar road. This ministry is to prodigals, however families of prodigals are getting help just by being able to talk out their feelings to Dustin Long and Tim Heard, who have a heart for hurting people.

We thank God for this needed ministry that is now part of HOPE. Years ago, it may have seemed this was anything but possible, but God always has a plan. He opens doors in His timing.
