A Revival of Real Praying Would
Produce A Spiritual Revolution
We have to invest time in prayer, according to the WORD, in order to obtain the directions that we are so desperately seeking from God.
We often become disillusioned before we get our answer. We are inquiring of God, and the Bible says in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit … ”
Therefore:
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the FLESH; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the SPIRIT” (Romans 8:5).
In Principle We Must:
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).
“But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law” (Galatians 5:18).
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).
Whatever is obtainable from God sometimes come through spiritual warfare prayer. (Luke 1:37)
Pray:
- that we linger until the Spirit begins to intercede for us with groanings too deep for words. (Romans 8:26)
- that we will build ourselves on our most holy faith, praying in the Spirit. (Jude 1:20)
- that we will move from a word of prayer, a moment of prayer, a minute of prayer, and enter into seasons of prayer. (Romans 12:12)
- that we will commune with God without ceasing- an attitude of prayer and God-consciousness. (I Thessalonians 5:17; Psalm 109:4)
- that we will live righteously and pray fervently. (James 5:16; Colossians 4:12).
- that we will set our mind on higher things, and not on the things around us. (Colossians 3:2)
