It's time to kneel personally and in ALL our nations for failing to support fully Almighty God and His Chosen People, the Jews, and His Land, Israel. In the face of a larger war, in this month of Elul, in this season of repentance, starting Monday, September 30, NDR is encouraging not just prayer, but real personal repentance: prayer, fasting and repentance, leading up to a Global Day of Repentance on October 7, 2024. This will lead into our joining many who will celebrate Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement on Saturday October 12. All is part of His Gift of Teshuvah, His Gift of Repentance. Vision for the Global Day of Repentance October 7, 2024
one year anniversary of the worst violence against Jews since the Holocaust
On behalf of over 1,100 previously-enrolled, repentance-remnant intercessors in forty nine nations, (intercessors earlier participating in our earlier global days of repentance), National Day of Repentance declares seven days of personal prayer, fasting, and repentance beginning Monday, September 30 to refocus our minds and hearts on His Chosen People and His Chosen Land, Israel.
On each one of the seven days, as the Lord leads, each of us will be called to look at, with our Teacher, the Holy Spirit, and to confess, how each of us individually, or in our families, and in our nations, have deeply mistreated Jews, even, for centuries, rejecting and killing His Chosen People. On each of the seven days, in our prayer closets or perhaps a repentance service, each of us will look at prayer points, including replacement theory, or apathy, or anger, or fear, or pagan spirits, or antisemitism, or apostasy, contributing, in any manner, to the horrific disaster in Israel on October 7, 2023.
Having grieved, having repented, now seeking forgiveness, we will then, God willing, on October 7, 2024 hold a repentance global zoom service, jew and gentile. God willing, following private times with the Holy Spirit to remove any remnant of anti-semitism, it will conclude with an extended prayer time to share our love for all jews and Israel. The love we feel already is based upon our deep, deep love for the Living God we believe in, Who eternally loves and protects His Chosen People and His Land. This Living God now calls ALL living on His planet to repent and join His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17, Luke 24:47).
A possible model for this Global Day of Repentance is found in the Book of Nehemiah, chapter one. Nehemiah learns of the walls in Jerusalem having been broken down: " So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven." (Nehemiah 1:4 NKJV).
It may be that now we gentiles, having been grafted in to the "cultivated olive tree" (Romans 11:24), having repented to join His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17), having converted (Acts 3:19), having believed in the Messiah Yeshua/Christ Jesus, and being part of the "one new man" (Ephesians 2:15), are now able through His indwelling Holy Spirit to send the first fruit of the Holy Spirit to support all jews and the nation of Israel: our LOVE.
Instead of building up a wall, as was the assignment given to Nehemiah once he prayed, fasted and repented (Nehemiah 1:6), now we, the Body of Messiah/ the Body of Christ are called now to tear down a spiritual wall, the false stronghold in the spirit the enemy has planted, deceiving millions for centuries. Our love and His Word are key spiritual weapons for tearing down this false wall: "For though we walk in the flesh we do not war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ..." (2 Corinthians 10: 3-5 NKJV).
"By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days." (Hebrews 11:30). Perhaps seven days is an appropriate time to pray, fast and repent to take down this spiritual wall of hatred towards His Chosen People and His Land.
Repentance is God's gift, as was Yeshua's blood. Ephesians 6: 10-20 gives us the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil. It's time to return to Him; He's the soon-coming Bridegroom seeking His Bride without spot (Ephesians 5: 25-27). It's clearly time to remove even a remnant of antisemitism, anger, apathy, apostasy, the anti-Christ spirit, replacing it all with His love, moving through His born-again believers. We identify with His Word: " The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, down to the dust." (Isaiah 25:12). And this Word also from Isaiah 60:18 " Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise."
Restoring His Plan and His Love to His Chosen People and Israel may be found also in these Words: " Because of you I give praise in the great assembly; I will fulfill my vows in the sight of those who fear him. The poor will eat and be satisfied; those who seek Adonai will praise him; Your hearts will enjoy life forever. All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Adonai; all the clans of the nations will worship in your presence. For the kingdom belongs to Adonai, and he rules the nations." (Psalm 22:25-28 Complete Jewish Bible translation).

In the same way that Joshua's team went around the walls of Jericho for seven days, (Joshua 6:2-20) we invite you to spend your time alone with the Lord or in a group, praying, fasting as He may direct, and sincerely repenting, for seven days in advance of our Global Day of Repentance on October 7, 2024. Repentance brings His healing for persons and nations. (2 Chronicles 7:13,14; Jeremiah 18:8-10).

Prayers, points to ponder, steps to take to repent, to turn to Him, for all jews and gentiles, all over His Earth.

Praise
Take time with the Lord to give Him praise that He said to Moses, " Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: "The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts." (Leviticus 23: 2). Praise the LORD that He gave as feasts the Sabbath, The Passover and Unleavened Bread, The Feast of Firstfruits, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement [ when one is to "afflict one's soul" ] and the Feast of Tabernacles, declaring these to be a "statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings." (Leviticus 23:3-44). Praise God that this day begins this year's Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:23; Numbers 29:1-6). This feast begins ten days of introspection and repentance, Days of Teshuvah, or Days of Awe, Rosh Hashanah. Many people have been taught that since Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, God’s holy days have no value for Christians. Nothing could be further from the truth!
The real meaning of these festivals remains hidden for Jews and for most Christians today. However, the meaning of these feasts can be understood with the help of God’s spirit. Yeshua/Jesus says in Matthew 5:17-20: " Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
Repent
Spending time with the Risen Christ, Revelation 3:20, consider with Him whether you have spent time with Him to "chew over," as you "dine" with Him, the basic issue of rejecting His Word, the Tanakh, the Old Testament, including His emphasis on repentance and atonement. No need to repent for just 10 days, or to "afflict your soul" one day a year; repent that this is not yet a daily spiritual practice. Exercise your free will to begin this key day to cleanse spiritually from old sin patterns, calling upon your indwelling Holy Spirit to assist you as you become His clean, chosen vessel. ( Matthew 4:17, Acts 3:19, Acts 9:15).
" Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19.
Declare
As an individual, and for my nation, I repent for failing to follow His commands, failing to "hallow" Him (Numbers 20:12). I choose today to sincerely repent, to return to Him, to follow His narrow path, (Matthew 7:13,14), to receive His refreshing, and to join others in His Kingdom "perfecting holiness in the fear of God" 2 Corinthians 7:1). I choose His Gift of repentance to be my regular spiritual practice so that I will "bear fruit worthy of repentance" (Matthew 3:8), and be a part of His Bride, His "glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5: 27).
