Please Pray for Myanmar

On February 1, 2021 the Myanmar military detained democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi and other government leaders in a coup. The military is now in control of the nation. The internet and cell phones are now under military control. Our missionary team on the ground is safe yet there is a lot of uncertainty of what comes next. The people are angry, fearful, sad and feel betrayed after making great strides towards democracy and freedom. Here are some ways you can pray:

  • Pray for the safety of our missionary team in Myanmar.

  • Pray for our pastors and church plants for grace, wisdom, peace and safety.

  • Pray for the detained democratic leaders to be released and for a peaceful resolution without violence and bloodshed.

  • Pray that Jesus will show up in the midst of this dark time and that many will come to know Christ.

  • Pray that the US sanctions will not harm the innocent but will expose the evil behind this coup.

  • Pray that God will use this event to bring a Great Awakening to Myanmar and revival to the church.

  • Pray for needed resources to help the poor and needy.
